This pattern is very versatile. You can use any type of yarn with appropriate sized hooks to create different sized/coloured/textured bunny with this pattern. You can add a squeaker or a rattle part to turn it into a cute baby toy. The best part about an amigurumi is that each and every one is unique and different. So create and enjoy your very own Bunny!
Skill Level - Beginner/ Intermediate
You will need to know the basics of crocheting to understand this pattern.
- Crocheting in spiral
- Working in single crochet
- Working in slip stitch
- Working in half double crochet
- Working in even moss stitch
- Chains
- Slip stitch
- Increasing and decreasing
- Basic sewing skills
Step by step instructions are provided along with 48 corresponding photos of each process and the finished bunnies and accessories.
Materials you will need:
- 1.00mm crochet hook
- 2.25/2.5mm crochet hook
- Yarn and lace yarn (doll eyes optional)
- rattle disc (optional)
- Toy stuffing (polyester fibrefill)
- Yarn needle and sewing needle
Crochet abbreviations found in this pattern:
st(s) = stitch(es)
ch = chain
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec = decrease (2 sc together)
sl st = slip stitch
(…) = repeat the instructions in the brackets the given number of times
[…] = total number of stitches
